Donate food

During the coronavirus outbreak, we are still providing people in crisis with emergency food. We are grateful for your donations and support. Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the items that we need right now.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection points. Please note that drop off points are available during location opening hours. It is best to check with each individual store for its current opening hours.

The collection points at Tesco stores are intended for food that has been purchased in-store.  Any food that has been purchased in a different store or brought from home and placed into a Tesco collection point should be sealed and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
